Amanda Locker is a first-year medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine with a focused interest in musculoskeletal oncology. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech in 2021 and a Master of Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2024. During her master's program, Amanda conducted basic science research on metastatic osteosarcoma within the Musculoskeletal Oncology Laboratory (MOL). Following graduation, she served as the MOL's Clinical Research Specialist from 2024 to 2025. In this role, Amanda managed the Musculoskeletal Tumor Registry and Tissue Bank (MOTOR) and contributed to clinical studies investigating the intraoperative use of Indocyanine Green (ICG) fluorescent dye for margin assessment in soft tissue sarcoma excisions. Amanda is excited to present her work at the Connective Tissue Oncology Society meeting.
