Ruby is a third-year medical student at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) with a strong interest in radiation oncology and orthopedic surgery. Before medical school, she spent two gap years at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), conducting focused ultrasound research in breast cancer and genetic research in prostate cancer. Her extensive research experience has fueled her passion for advancing image-guided therapies to improve cancer treatment and patient outcomes.
