I completed general surgery residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center, during which time I spent two years in a translational genomics lab and earned a master's degree in epidemiology and clinical research. My clinical interest is in general surgical oncology. My research during fellowship focuses on using genomics approaches to identity tumor factors that are associated with clinical outcomes, particularly in sarcomas.
