Research Technician
Cleveland Clinic Research
Jarrell Imamura is a research technician at the Cleveland Clinic, working in the Burke Lab to study the evolution of treatment resistance in osteosarcoma. His current focus is on developing cell models to better understand the evolutionary mechanisms of resistance and studying collateral effects that emerge as resistance develops. He is also engaged in building predictive models of chemotherapy response, aiming to guide the selection of second-line agents when clinical decision-making is unclear. Jarrell plans to pursue a career as a physician-scientist in oncology, where he can advance precision medicine and improve outcomes for patients with rare and aggressive cancers.
