I am a surgical oncologist at the Sarcoma Service of Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan, one of the leading international referral centers for soft tissue and retroperitoneal sarcomas. Following the training in General Surgery at the University of Milan (with honors) I completed a senior clinical fellowship in abdominal and retroperitoneal sarcoma at University Hospital Birmingham - Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, UK.
My clinical practice covers the diagnosis, treatment, and multidisciplinary management of patients with complex sarcomas, with extensive surgical expertise ranging from abdominal and vascular procedures to minimally invasive (laparoscopic and robotic) and reconstructive surgery. I am deeply engaged in clinical research, with active participation in numerous international prospective studies and trials (including EORTC and ISG-led projects), as well as multicenter registries. My work reflects a strong commitment to optimizing the care pathways, surgical and oncological outcomes of patients with sarcoma. I have personally authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals with active contributes to consensus initiatives and collaborative research networks, combining a broad surgical background with a focused dedication to sarcoma research and patient care.
