Dr. Bauer graduated from Medical School in Würzburg, Germany and received is training in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology at the University Hospital in Essen, Germany. He currently directs the Sarcoma Center at the West German Cancer Center in Essen and a translational sarcoma research group. He is consultant oncologist at the Dept. of Medical Oncology and co-leads the Adolescent and Young Adults (AYA) program at the University in Essen.
