Dr. Erika Schmitz completed her Medical Degree and General Surgery Residency at the University of Ottawa, followed by a Fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology at the University of British Columbia. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor (Locum) in Surgical Oncology at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre. Her clinical interests include sarcoma, melanoma and breast cancer, while her research focuses on clinical outcomes in cancer care and resource utilization.
