Mohammad Amin Salehi, a recently graduate MD from Iran, is a Clinical Research Assistant at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC), Division of Medical Oncology. His work centers on sarcoma clinical research and collaborative networks: he serves on the SaRC-Q (Sarcoma Research Consortium of Quebec) management team and contributes to the Canadian Sarcoma Clinical and Research Collaboration (CanSaRCC). He coordinates multicentre oncology studies, including protocol and ethics reviews, patient screening and enrollment, data collection/analysis, and conducts patient-facing research.
His academic interests include imaging-based and AI-enabled diagnostics in musculoskeletal and oncologic disease. He has authored 35+ peer-reviewed publications (h-index 17), including meta-analyses on primary malignant bone tumors and other cancer relevant applications. His work on AI in osteoarthritis detection was selected as Editor’s Choice by Osteoarthritis & Cartilage (2024).
Dr. Salehi aims to continue his medical career through Internal Medicine residency training in Canada, bringing a commitment to evidence based, patient-centred care and collaborative research.
