A/Prof David Gyorki is Clinical Associate Professor at University of Melbourne, and Consultant Surgical Oncologis at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne as well as Research & Education Lead for Skin and Melanoma at the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre. He has a high volume clinical practice in melanoma and soft tissue sarcoma. His main research interests are in retroperitoneal sarcoma where he is leading the STRASS 2 randomised trial in Australia. He also has a translational research interest in melanoma, particularly in understanding tumour dormancy and optimising the use of neoadjuvant therapies.
