Dr. Dufresne is a French medical oncologist, specialized in the management of patients with sarcoma. Her commitment to sarcoma research developed during her doctoral (PhD) studies with a 3 years-project dedicated to desmoid tumors. She strengthened her knowledge on basic biology in GIST and sarcoma during a 2 years post-doctoral position in Dr Jonathan Fletcher’s lab in Boston and Harvard Medical School. Back to France in September 2017 as a specialist in the anti-cancer center of Lyon, she joined the team of Pr Jean-Yves Blay to pursue cutting edge sarcoma translational research being involved in both clinical and basic research as an independent clinician-scientist.
