Dr. Priya Chudasama leads the Precision Sarcoma Research Group at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, Germany. Integrating structural and functional genomics, her team applies long-read sequencing, single cell and spatial multi-omics to better understand tumor heterogeneity and clonal evolution in in chromosomal-instable sarcoma. Dr. Chudasama also investigates ultra-rare sarcoma, particularly fusion-driven sarcoma such as clear cell sarcoma, and is leveraging induced-proximity based therapeutics and metabolomics to better understand and target these challenging entities.
