Dr. Yung Hsin Chen is a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and a clinical attending in the Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention at Massachusetts General Hospital. After graduating from Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Chen completed his residency training, followed by subspecialty fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD.
Dr. Chen's research integrates clinical insights with computational approaches, focusing on Radiomics and advanced MR imaging analysis in musculoskeletal oncology. He utilizes these methods to identify patterns within complex radiological data, driving the development of machine learning models.
These models are designed to enhance the identification, characterization, and prediction of various musculoskeletal cancer conditions. Dr. Chen is committed to building computational learning tools that support diagnostic precision and help guide treatment strategies. His work demonstrates how AI and machine learning can offer new perspectives from medical imaging, contributing to improved patient outcomes in cancer care.
