Michael Nakazawa is an assistant professor on the clinical investigator track in the Sarcoma Medical Oncology department at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has a longstanding research interest in mechanisms of drug resistance in sarcomas, both from the tumor microenvironment as well as cell-intrinsic processes, and how to overcome these barriers.
