I am a clinical scientist and a surgical oncologist working at the Molecular Pharmacology Unit and the Sarcoma Service of the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori, Milan, Italy. Our translational research focuses on the search for new therapeutic targets, modifiers of tumor response with a special interest for mechanism of resistance to therapeutic options, prognostic and predictive markers for soft tissue sarcomas. To reach this aim, we exploit molecular profiling of sarcoma samples treated at our sarcoma units at INT and a large collection and patient-derived models of several sarcoma histologies.
