Senior Radiographer Researcher

I am a senior therapeutic radiographer researcher at The Royal Marsden Hospital and the Radiotherapy Trials Quality Assurance (RTTQA) group, specialising in sarcoma radiotherapy. With over 15 years of clinical and research experience, I have contributed to national and international radiotherapy trials and quality assurance initiatives aimed at improving treatment precision and patient outcomes.
My research focuses on enhancing outcomes for patients with soft tissue sarcoma of the extremities by developing anatomically precise dose–volume constraints for normal tissues to better predict and mitigate radiotherapy-induced toxicities.
I am actively involved in ESTRO as a member of the RTT Committee, the Guidelines Committee, and the European Particle Therapy Network (EPTN). I regularly present at national and international meetings, including ESTRO, ART, and UKIO, and mentor clinical research fellows and radiographers pursuing academic careers in radiotherapy.
