I am a physician scientist with clinical and research interests in sarcomas, specifically rhabdomyosarcoma. My laboratory utilizes gene editing technologies, high-throughput chemical and genetic screens, animal models (predominantly zebrafish), cell-based assays and functional genomics to investigate disease mechanisms and discover new therapeutic targets in rhabdomyosarcoma. I also serve as an attending pathologist on the Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology subspecialty service in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Washington.
