I am an Assistant Attending Pathologist in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) with clinical responsibilities in Cytopathology, Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology, and Diagnostic Molecular Pathology. My research centers on the molecular pathogenesis and therapeutic vulnerabilities of soft-tissue sarcomas, particularly in pediatric and young adult patients. In particular, my efforts have been focused on integrating single-nucleus multiomics, spatial transcriptomics, and targeted proteomics to define actionable targets and resistance programs in translocation associated sarcomas. My recent project relates to the discovery of new targets and their translational validation in CIC::DUX4 sarcoma, a highly aggressive disease without effective treatment affecting young adults.
