I have recetly completed my PhD at Newcastle Univesity where I was supervised by Mr Kenneth Rankin. The focus of my PhD work was investigating factors which can affect the local invaison of cancer cells, specifically glioblastoma and chondrosarcoma cells. The work involved the use of spheroid invasion assays, immunohistochemistry and the use of a CRISPR knockout. Prior to my PhD, I was awarded a first class Physics MPhys (Hons) degree from Newcastle University.
