Daeheon Kwon is a PhD candidate in Bioengineering at Seoul National University under the supervision of Prof. Sunghoon Kwon. His research focuses on the development of artificial intelligence methods for immuno-oncology and precision medicine.
He has worked on multiple computational pipelines, including B-cell receptor repertoire visualization tools, cfDNA methylation analysis models, and deep learning frameworks for spatial transcriptomics prediction. In a recent project, he applied AI-based image analysis to sarcoma H&E slides to classify immune subtypes. This work aimed to establish histology-driven biomarkers for sarcomas and to provide a scalable approach for immune subtype identification in clinical samples.
His projects are conducted in collaboration with clinicians and industry partners, with the goal of translating computational models into practical tools for biomarker discovery and treatment guidance.
