Consultant Medical Oncologist

Dr Javier Pozas is a locum consultant medical oncologist at UCLH with a special interest in GIST, cell therapy and novel immunotherapy agents for the treatment of sarcomas.
He earned his MBBS and completed his speciality training in medical oncology in Madrid, Spain. He further enhanced his clinical experience at Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris (APHP) in Paris, France, and Peking Union Medical College Hospital in Beijing, China.
He completed his PhD in Madrid and pursued a post-CCT fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where he continues to contribute as an honorary fellow. In addition to his clinical roles, Javier is a visiting scientist at The Francis Crick Institute.
