Dr. Raghad Alshammari, from Kuwait, is a general surgery resident at the University of British Columbia. She earned her MBChB from the University of Glasgow. A committed surgical educator, she mentors medical students and junior residents, aiming to advance patient outcomes and surgical training in Kuwait following Residency and fellowship. Outside the OR, she enjoys horseback riding and rescuing stray cats.
