For the past year I have been working as a Sarcoma Radiotherapy Research Fellow under the supervision of Dr Mahbubl Ahmed, alongside the final stages of specialty training as a Clinical Oncologist. My focus has been on hypofractionated definitive radiotherapy for non-extremity soft tissue and bone sarcomas and, together with Dr Ahmed, we are in the process of developing a multi-centre phase 2 study, HD-Sarc, in this patient cohort. I am due to take up a locum consultant post in paediatric radiotherapy from mid-November 2025.
