PhD from the University of Miami and Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo, in small bowel transplantation (2004-2007). Post-doctorate from CNPq/Einstein in experimental intestinal and multivisceral transplantation. Surgeon in the Transplant Program at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein from August 2008 to July 2010. Attending Physician in the Digestive System Organ Transplant Discipline of the Department of Gastroenterology at Hospital das Clínicas, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo, from August 2010 to November 2014. Associate Professor at LIM 37-FMUSP. He works in gastroenterological surgery, liver transplantation, and intestinal rehabilitation. Member of the Brazilian College of Surgeons, member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and of the Department of Liver Transplantation (elected) of the Brazilian Association of Organ Transplantation. Coordinator of the Gastroenterology Center and technical manager of the Liver Transplant Program at Hospital Samaritano in São Paulo. Coordinator of the Liver Transplant Program at Beneficëncia Portuguesa de Sáo Paulo. Technical Director of the Pediatric and Adult Intestinal Rehabilitation Surgical Program at Hospital Samaritano. Professor of Surgical Technique and Research at UNIFESP/EPM. Member of the Editorial Board of the Brazilian Journal of Transplantation. Surgeon of the Intestinal and Multivisceral Transplant Program at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, starting in December 2022.
