Prof. Dr. Philipp Funovics is Head of the Musculoskeletal Tumour Unit at the Medical University of Vienna and a leading international expert in musculoskeletal oncology. His clinical and academic work has helped define modern tumour-orthopaedic practice through innovative reconstructive techniques, evidence-based research, and international collaboration. Prof. Funovics serves as Treasurer of the International Society of Limb Salvage (ISOLS) and has held key positions within EMSOS, contributing to global progress in orthopaedic oncology and education.
