Raised in Utah, Mark Evans was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Stanford University in 2011. Later, he received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2016. Following AP/CP pathology residency at the University of California, Irvine, Mark completed fellowship training in hematopathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and in molecular genetic pathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He enjoys conducting medical research that investigates rare diseases, including molecularly-defined sarcomas, breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma, and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.
