Vanderbilt University Medical Center
Erik Beadle is a postdoctoral research fellow in the department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is part of the HEM-ONC division, in the laboratory of Julie Rhoades, who was also his thesis advisor for his doctoral work at Vanderbilt University in the Cancer Biology program. His post-doctoral research focuses on tumor microenvironment interactions and how signaling pathways, such as Hedgehog, influence immune and stromal remodeling during cancer progression. Erik's current postdoctoral project focuses on hedgehog signaling in dedifferentiated liposarcoma, while his dissertation focus was predominantly on Gli2- PTHrP signaling in osteosarcoma and bone remodeling.
