She completed a General Surgery Residency at the University of California San Diego Medical Center, and completed a Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Voss’s clinical interests include extremity sarcomas, complex retroperitoneal and abdominal sarcomas, GISTs, and adrenal tumors (both benign and malignant). She offers posterior retroperitoneoscopic adrenalectomy (PRA) procedures for patients with adrenal tumors, which is a minimally-invasive approach to adrenalectomy performed through the back muscles. Her research interests include health services research, focusing on the analysis of both institutional and national databases such as the National Cancer Database (NCDB) and patient-reported outcomes. Additionally, she has a specific research focus on the adequate delivery of surgical care nationally in the areas of extremity sarcomas and GISTs to identify gaps in care delivery in the U.S.
