Professor, Department of Sarcoma Medical Oncology, Division of Cancer Medicine
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center
I am a medical oncologist in the department of Sarcoma Medical Oncology at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center specializing in the management of sarcomas and rare cancers. My research focuses on developing innovative therapies for these rare malignancies, supported by extensive experience leading phase I, II and III clinical trials in sarcoma patients. I have a particular interest in the development of targeted therapies for patients with tenosynovial giant cell tumor for better disease control and improved quality of life. I have collaborated on several multicenter clinical trials for CSF-1R inhibitors in the treatment of TGCT. I have recently served as the lead investigator in the US for the Phase III trial of pimicotinib in TGCT patients. I am interested in identifying novel therapies for TGCT with significant efficacy coupled with a desirable safety and toxicity profile for patients.
