Joseph Redding is a second-year medical student at USF Morsani College of Medicine who is involved in musculoskeletal oncology research at Moffitt Cancer Center. Prior to medical school, Joseph earned his bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences from Liberty University, graduating in 2024. At US MCOM, Joseph serves as treasurer of the electoral board of Orthopaedic Surgery Interest Group (OSIG), where he coordinates meetings and funding and plans to head practical sessions such as a suturing clinic. He also serves as the social chair of Christian Medical and Dental Association (CMDA), a role that allows him to lead fellowship nights and plan physician-led ethics conferences at US MCOM. He is particularly interested in orthopaedic surgery and is looking forward to exploring a variety of specialties in his year three clinical rotations.
