Dr. Kelly Gutpell, MBBCh, PhD is a Pediatric Hematology–Oncology fellow in the lab of Dr. Ryan Roberts at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Her research investigates how heterogeneous osteosarcoma cell populations cooperate with the lung microenvironment during the earliest stages of metastasis. By uncovering the role of “anchor cells” and tumor–stroma crosstalk, her work aims to identify new therapeutic targets to prevent metastatic disease.
