Nicholas Tedesco D.O., FAAOS completed medical school at the University of New England in Biddeford, ME. His orthopedic surgery residency was sponsored by Ohio University in Massillon/Canton, OH and his fellowship in orthopedic oncology was completed in 2015 through Georgetown University and Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
He is a clinical assistant professor of surgery at Western University in Lebanon, OR and clinical faculty for Pacific Northwest University in Yakima, WA. He currently serves as both Surgical Perioperative Director (SPOD) and co-associate program director of the orthopedic surgery residency training program at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, OR.
He is involved with research, including grant-funded cancer research and clinical research in joint replacement and oncologic surgery. He is on faculty with the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, is a fellow in and sits on the Education Assessments and Examinations Committee for the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, is the current president of the board of directors for the Musculoskeletal Oncology Research Initiative, and chairs the Guidelines and Evidence Based Medicine Committee for the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society.
